OUR PRACTICE AREAS

REAL ESTATE

Buying a home is the most significant purchase that most people will ever make. At Wall-Armstrong & Associate we strive to make the process as easy as possible. We provide legal services for all residential real estate, including new and resale homes and condominium units, as well as refinancing on mortgages (both institutional and private) and advice on life leases.

Before the contract is signed, we can assist you by reviewing your offer and drafting conditions (if you have provided for this in your Agreement of Purchase and Sale). Once your offer is firm, we can act for you on both your purchase and your sale, and can assist with properties anywhere in Ontario if you are moving to or away from the Barrie area.

The lawyers and staff at Wall-Armstrong & Associate are always prepared to speak to our clients to ensure that they understand the details of the transaction and are comfortable with the procedure.

ESTATE PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION

Most people do not think about estate planning as having any importance in their daily lives, primarily because they do not believe that their estate needs have any urgency. At Wall-Armstrong & Associate, we believe the focus should be on life planning, rather than on estate planning, because what is important is ensuring that you and your family are protected throughout your lifetime. This means ensuring that you have properly prepared powers of attorney and trust agreements in place, as well as a carefully drafted will that reflects your wishes and protects your loved ones. Considering your options now will ensure that both you and your family are protected now and in the future. At Wall-Armstrong & Associate, we can help you prepare wills, powers of attorney and trust documents that will reflect your individual circumstances, protect your interests and minimize the liabilities owing by your estate, thereby preserving as much as possible for your loved ones.

Wall-Armstrong & Associate also offers advice on estate administration services, from applying for letters of administration (formerly known as probate) to distributing the assets. Our office is able to assist with all types and sizes of estates in a comfortable environment.
